Knowing your skin type

Most people confuse skin type for skin tone, please note that they are both totally different. Skin type is how the skin react to exposure to different weathers and conditions while skin tone is basically the color of the skin but I am going to leave skin tone for another day and pay more reference to skin type.
              The skin become more evident at around age 20 and they include normal skin, dry skin, oily skin, combination skin and sensitive skin.

  1. Normal skin: Normal skin is not too dry or too oily. It has no or few imperfections, no severe sensitivity, barely visible pores and a radiant complexion.
  2. Dry skin: It is very dry and the upper skin will look unhealthy. Dry skin is caused when the moisture content and the oil content of the skin is too low. Almost invisible spores, dull and rough complexion, red patches, visible lines, cracks, appears on the skin because of dryness,
  3. Oily skin: Oily skin can be a pain to deal. It is the accumulation of excess oil on the outer skin layer which results to whiteheads, blackheads, blind pimples and other skin irritations. It also have one advantage that is it tends to age better and develop fewer wrinkles than dry or normal skin. So, it's not all bad.
  4. Combination skin: It is the most common type of skin. A combination skin type can be dry or normal in some areas and oily in others, such as the T-zone. The T-zone is the nose, forehead and chin area.
  5. Sensitive skin: Different from the above mentioned four types, namely without oil, without being dry and will be very soft. If pressed and rub lightly it will turn red, skin reactions such as pustules, skin bumps or skin erosion, a tendency toward blushing and skin flushing.
All these mentioned above are the main skin types. If you are still in doubt of your skin type, you can take this quiz following the link below;
