ACNE pt 3
I strongly recommend natural remedies for people with sensitive skin because they have no side effect and can cause less or no irritation on the skin. These are some of the gentlest and least irritating acne home remedies. Choose one or two to try at a time, and test. If your skin responds well, do it regularly and see if you get results.
- Put orange peel in the sun and let it completely dry out.
- Grind the dried peel into a powder and add water to make a paste.
- Apply the paste to the affected area and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Then wash your face with warm water.
You can buy aloe vera gel from the market or get pure aloe vera gel by cutting a leaf off an aloe vera plant and squeezing the gel from the middle. Apply the aloe vera gel to the affected area twice daily.
- Mix together 1 teaspoon of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar and 2 to 3 teaspoons of filtered or distilled water. Use a cotton ball to apply this solution on the affected skin. Leave it on for at least 10 minutes, then rinse it off with warm water. Reapply a few times a day for a few days.
- Also, add 1 teaspoon of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar to a glass of warm water and drink it once or twice daily. This tonic is very effective for those who have acne-prone skin.
- Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with a little water to make a paste.
- Use a cotton swab to apply it on the affected skin.
- Rinse it off after 1 minute.
- Use this remedy once or twice a week.
- Wash your skin thoroughly and pat dry with a soft cloth. Apply a small amount of extra-virgin coconut oil on the affected area before going to bed. Wash it off in the morning.
- Alternatively, add 2 or 3 drops of tea tree oil to 1 teaspoon of extra-virgin coconut oil. Apply this solution on the affected area, wait 10 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water. Use this remedy 2 or 3 times a day for a few days.
- To prevent acne breakouts and keep your skin healthy, take 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin coconut oil orally twice daily.
- Apply a small amount honey on the affected area. Allow it to sit to 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water first, then with cold water. Follow this remedy twice daily for about a week.
- Alternatively, prepare a mixture with equal amounts of raw honey and powdered nutmeg. Apply it on the affected area, leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes and then rinse it off with water. Use it once daily for a few days.
- To prevent acne breakouts, make a face pack with 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Apply it on your face, wait about 10 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. Use this face pack once a week.
- Simply rub a slice of tomato on the affected skin for a few minutes, then rinse it off with warm water. Repeat twice daily for a few days to treat mild acne.
- For severe acne, mix 1 tablespoon of tomato juice, a few drops of lemon juice and ½ teaspoon of raw honey. Apply the mixture on the affected area with a cotton ball. Wait 5 minutes, then rinse it off with warm water. Use this remedy once daily for a few days.
AVOID PINCHING, POKING AND TOUCHING THE ACNE, it would only give room for more microbes thereby causing more infection.
